Great picks. Love Gov't Mule. Need to give Panic more of a deep listen. And DBT is one of my all-time favorites! Wrote about 'em here:

Great article Jay. My ride or die would have to be Radiohead from across the pond and either Spoon or Wilco from the good ole USA! Have a great week

Love these! Excellent calls. Going to cue up some Radiohead here later on today. I was very anti-Radiohead for awhile, but it's grown on me in recent years.

The Afghan Whigs (and all Greg Dulli-related acts).

I need to get more into Dulli's work, I've always just kind of orbited around it. Cueing up some Afghan Whigs right now. Let me know if you have recommendations!

I think a lot of people would say that Gentlemen is their best album, but I also think it's harder to fall in love with if you're not in a particularly tortured state of mind. Black Love is my favorite from the pre-breakup work, and I think the post-reunion works In Spades and How Do You Burn are both incredible. If you like their more current work a lot, I think you'll also dig the Twilight Singers catalog. Hope you find something you like!

I love this. I'm doing the total casual-tourist thing right now and listening to the "This Is Afghan Whigs" playlist on Spotify. As usual, I'm wondering why I didn't listen to them more!
