From the worst to the best, everything from America's finest whomp-rock band
Fantastic! I shared the G'n'R column with buddies when that came out and this is going to the same guys. I won't tell you your rankings are wrong and mine are the correct ones because that doesn't matter. The paragraph describing the three VH singers is perfect - you nailed it. Great stuff and really, really fun to read. (hands clapping emoji)
I'm with you on 5150. I love that song. It's not Mean Streets or Romeo's Delight but, top 10 VH song for sure
Don't agree with a lot of this list except for 5150. I think it's an incredible song, vastly underrated. I will say that as much as I liked VH with Roth, I thought they were actually better with the better singer and musician, Hagar. Maybe I was too young to fully appreciate Diamond Dave, but his raspy rants after every lyric were kind of annoying. I'm not alone with this line of thinking either.
“Where Have All the Good Times Gone!” is a Kinks cover. The original is pretty good too.
I like Fair Warning more than you did, but this is wonderful
